Chapter 1: A Psalm of the Boy with a Dream

A Psalm of the Boy with a Dream

To the Lector: A Psalm reflecting the journey of a boy with a dream.

Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for battle,

In the story of a boy with a dream, amidst life's tumultuous rattle.

His dream was noble, pure, to showcase God's creation wide,

To reveal through nature's beauty, the Creator's love inside.

The boy, with aspirations high, sought to honor God's great earth,

In every mountain, stream, and sky, he found a sense of worth.

But as the dream within him grew, so did his ego, unconfined,

Blinding him to the humility, in God's plan designed.

Surrounded by voices that mocked, that misunderstood his aim,

The boy's dream, once bright and bold, now flickered, a dying flame.

Yet, in this fading of his dream, a lesson was to be learned,

For in the ashes of lost hopes, God's better plan was discerned.

Praise be to God, for in His wisdom, He guides our way,

Even when dreams crumble, in His arms, we safely stay.

The boy learned to trust, not in his might, but in the Lord's embrace,

Finding strength, not in his dream, but in God's sufficient grace.

Blessed is the one who, in valleys deep or on joyous peak,

Finds solace in the Lord, His guidance ever seeks.

The boy, though his dream seemed lost, found a greater trust,

In the One who shapes our paths, who is faithful and just.

Let the boy remember always, his Creator, his heavenly guide,

In every season, every turn, in His love to abide.

For though our plans may falter, our dreams may fade away,

God's purpose for us is perfect, in His will we must stay.

So let this psalm be a reminder, a testament of grace,

To the boy with a dream, in God's eternal embrace.

May he never forget his Maker, in all his days and deeds,

For in the Lord's hands, he finds all he needs.

To the boy with a dream, let this truth be known,

In God's loving plan, your purpose is sown.

In every trial and triumph, in every loss or gain,

Trust in the Lord, and in His love remain. Amen.
